As an additional service we offer group or individual playtime for dogs in our securely fenced, one acre play area located just above our hospital.
Group Playtime involves groups of up to five friendly dogs that play with each other, interact with our kennel attendant, and basically get to be happy dogs. Group playtime lasts at least 30 minutes but may last up to 2 hours, depending on the weather and the number of dogs boarding. The dogs participating are under constant supervision by our kennel attendant while in the upper play yard with their playmates. Dogs participating in group playtime must be neutered or spayed and have no aggressive tendencies towards other dogs.
Individual Playtime involves one or more dogs from the same family exploring the upper play yard and interacting with our kennel attendant on a more one-on-one basis. We offer this play time for dogs that don’t do well in a group setting, or for those dogs which have not been spayed or neutered. Individual playtime lasts at least 20 minutes per session but may go longer depending on weather and the number of dogs boarding. As with group playtime, boarders participating in individual playtime are constantly supervised in the upper play yard.
