Grizzly Peak Animal Hospital offers a comfortable and loving atmosphere for boarding dogs and cats, and the occasional exotic boarder. We get to know your pet by name, and they become part of our GPAH Family. We are proud of our roomy, extremely clean kennel area with lots of natural light for dog boarding, and our state of the art cat condos with an outdoor view, located in a separate quiet area towards the front of our hospital.
All dogs that are boarding with us get outside in our fenced exercise area for potty breaks at least three times daily. For an additional fee, you can schedule daily playtime for your dog(s) in our secure, one acre, fenced play yard. See Playtime/Camp Grizzly Peak for details.
Our cat boarders have multiple perching areas inside their condos in addition to separated areas for litter boxes, food, and water. The condos each have a large window facing out towards the front of our building. This allows your cat constant entertainment with the comings and goings of the hospital. Cat boarders are also allowed to play in an enclosed play area at the entrance of our hospital, either individually, or with siblings, daily.
We provide clean bedding that is changed daily and clean food and water bowls for all our boarding pets. If your pet has a special bed or toy, feel free to bring them as long as they are washable and you don’t mind if they come home well loved. We feed all boarders a premium sensitive stomach diet twice daily, unless your pet requires a specific diet that is brought with them.
Our veterinary technicians give all needed medications to individual boarders as directed, and your pet is always closely monitored by our kennel staff. If any illness occurs while you are away, your pet will be examined by the veterinarian on staff and treated accordingly until you can be notified.
For the protection of your pet, we require all boarding dogs and cats to be current on vaccinations and de-worming in order to board at our facility. Pet pick-up and drop-off is available on Saturday and Sunday at 8:30a.m. We do not have pick-up or drop-off services available on the following holidays: Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving Day.
