I was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. From a young age I always loved animals. Having a dad who was a physician helped me become interested in medicine, and from the time I was in high school I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian. I attended the University of Wyoming for my undergraduate degree in molecular biology, and then went to Colorado State University for my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in Billings for 5 years, I moved to Red Lodge in 2000 and opened Grizzly Peak Animal Hospital in 2001 with Rebecca Frank. My family includes my husband Mike, my late son, Mason, my two daughters, MacKenna and Addison, our black lab Rose, and Belle, our cat. In my spare time, I love to ski, hike, trail run, mountain bike, read, and hang out with my family and friends. I feel lucky to live in this special town that has so much recreation to offer and so many wonderful people!
